6 Days of toil, sweat, sweet arguments and confused decisions all just to organize the FAREWELL ’10 to our dear seniors. All set and done the programme kick started by 2.30p.m on 5th February. Our VV girls were all dressed traditionally in sizzling sarees and no less were the boys who were dashing in their costumes!! The thoughts highlighted by our dear chairman Prof. Guhan Jayaraman , secretary Mr. D.Ravi and our beloved Principal Mrs. Kaveri Padmanabhan were insoiring and also very moving. To sum up the formal part, our Head Girl Anupama Vinupal shared her memories in Vana Vani and sending us all down the memory lane. The XI girls were the first to rock the stage with their dance performance followed by the class adzap conducted for all the 5 sections of the 12th, where XII A bagged the best class award. Manasa, Shireen, Thangam from the girls and Naveen Felix, Shaahar and Aniruthan from the boys set the stage on Fire by their Dance moves in Adaptune. Later the rock band of Std XI consisting of Priyadharshan, Hemandran And Ashwin Suresh perfoermed a song and were also joined by Joshua and Manish of std XII. The game “ Kick the balloon “ suggested by Sharath of Std XI was a raging success as the 12th ers enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The second game called Limbo suggested by Preethi was also great fun. The Highlight of the show was Gautham Sankar and Akshaya Venkat’s farewell speech to our dear seniors. The mock awards were presented to the 12th ers by our beloved teachers. The DJ ing done By C. Karthik and Srivatsan added colour to the entire show. The entire life of the show was held by the compering team consisting of Varsha.R , Preethi.S Dharini.K.H Shweta.J and Ashwin Suresh.S of XI A, Gautham Sankar.S of XI B Vimala madhangi.M of XI C, myself and Akshaya Venkat of XI D. A special mention to the stage decoraters Archana.N , Mira.P,Shanmuga Priya.S, Saveetha.N who with their innovative ideas gave the stage a great look on that day. The highly awaited Boys dance was the last performance on Farewell. The boys made the crowds mad with their dance and as every event comes to an end , this very special day, ended by the vote of thanks rendered by me. Our seniors had to part ways forever from then. It was a very big team effort that made this day a memorable one. Thanks to each and every member of the farewell team, a million thanks to our dear class teachers, Our pillars of support through the entire proceedings.
