The students of class 11 start their Monday morning with a session presented by Mr. Viswanath a faculty of Subject-Plus – a branch of Alma mater an organization started by T.T.Rangarajan. The session serves as a path way to eliminate the factors that cause disturbances to the students both physically and mentally. The chinmaya mission is conducting the bhagavat gita competitiion this year in the month of september. Stud.ents from classes I-VIII are trained in the various chapters of the holy book.
On 3.8.10 the students had a mass recital of the tenth chapter of the Bagavat Gita. About 250 students were a part of this holy recitation. The bagavat gita, in essence, contains divine words of lord Vishnu as Krishna which emerges from his lotus-like lips.

About 46 of us participated in the Horlicks wizkids competition at Kamaraj Arangam on 19th and 20th July. We were awestruck at the number of schools participating and the hall was almost overflowing with students.
