ST.VINCENT A GREAT VISIONARY

St. Vincent De Paul, patron of SVS was born on 24. April, 1581 at Pouy near Dax in France as the third of the six children, to poor peasant parents, Jean De Paul and Bertrande De Moras.
As a young boy, he had a special compassion for poor and the suffering. Vincent studied humanities at Dax. in France and got graduated in theology at Toulouse. He was ordained as priest in 1600, and lived in Toulouse until he went to Marseille for a legacy.

St. Vincent's entered into the new academic year with the new Principal Rev. Fr. Johny Koyikkara, setting in his foot. He was extended a formal welcome by the staff, and was introduced by the then Principal Rev. Fr. Vincent Edakkarot, CM. As a symbolic gesture of accepting the leadership, Rev. Fr. Johny Koyikkara, CM was led to his chamber with a lighted candle. Rev Fr. Vincent Edakkarot was given a farewell on 3d June.

First PTA Meet

The first Parent Teacher Meet was convened on 17th, 24th and 31st of July for the primary, middle and higher secondary classes. The parent’s response was appreciative. The principal emphasized the responsibility of the parents to keep a track of their wards progress in academics and character formation and help them to evolve into better citizens.
