A RENDEZVOUS WITH DR.A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM

The Paryavaran Ambassador, Bharat Ratna , His Excellency Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam , the former President of India participated in an Interactive Session with the students of class XII , at the SBOA School and Junior College premises on 6th June’12 at 5.00P.M . Mr.Thomas Franco Rajendra Dev, Correspondent, SBOA Matric & Hr.Sec.school delivered the welcome address. Mrs.P,C.Selvarani, Principal, SBOA School and Jr.College gave a brief introduction about SBOA Schools and the activities carried out there. His Excellency was honoured by the Members of the Management - Mr.A.Krishnan, our Associate Secretary , draped a shawl on His Excellency, Mrs.Shirly Paul, our CEO, presented a bouquet and Mr.D.Suresh Kumar , our President, presented a memento . His Excellency’s oration was followed by an interaction with students. Mr.T.P Chandrasekharan , Correspondent, SBIOA Model Matric & Hr.Sec.school proposed the vote of thanks. His Excellency presented four books, duly signed to the school library. He also planted a sapling at the school premises. One remarkable feature was the arrangement made by the Management to webcast the entire programme on all SBOA Schools’ websites.
