Maj Gen Sandeep Kumar, VSM, ADGAE & Col Comdt, AEC retired from active service on 30 Nov 2010. He was commissioned into the AEC on 21 Dec 1975. During his career in the Army he has held important Staff, instructional and Comd. appointments at NDA, IMA, AEC Trg College & Centre, Pachmarhi and Army HQ. He showcased his scholastic zeal as Principal, Sainik School, Kapurtala. He had also been a GSO 1, MT-14, IHQ of MoD (Army), Brig (Edn) HQ Central Command & Comdt AEC Trg College & Centre, Pachmarhi. In recognition of his meritorious services the General Officer has been awarded Vishisht Seva Medal and the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card twice.
