Story-telling is a part of language classes and language teachers often use stories to encourage students to read. Students of Std. 2 were asked to present any story of their choice in an interesting way. This session was planned for a week with five to six students narrating their stories each day. They made use of interesting props like a toy, some headgear, a poster with leads to the story, etc. Some of the stories had morals too. Students enjoyed listening to stories as well as narrating them, all the while learning the nuances of narration and expression through this activity. In some cases, students took the role of their teachers when their turn came!
