Perhaps this is what each and every alumnus of CV thought before attending the alumni meet, CV, 2012. There was nostalgia all around, friends meeting each other after much of a time gap and the atmosphere was filled with euphoria. About 500 Cvians were present here on the 24th of June, 2012. Meena Aunty also shares some of her words of enlightenment with the audience and the ones present responded with loud applause. Besides the obvious fun and joy, there was also a serious social initiative that was taken up by the V-care club. The V-care club organized a blood donation camp which encouraged the ones present to donate a little blood and help save a life. This camp turned out to be a huge success, credits to the convincing of the V-care club. Besides this, the meet was further enhanced by the marvelous performance of Airtel Supersingers. Their performance made people get off their seats, sing to the music and tap their feet to those catchy beats. A Tambola game was also conducted to entertain the ones present. The alumni thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the company of their long lost friends and the comfortable home-like environment of their very own Chettinad Vidyashram. This event was a huge success, thanks to all the efforts and hard work put up by the teachers and the prefects who made sure no stone is left unturned.
