Our school management decided to have a trip to the Orphanage to know more about their way of living.
Our School students of VIII, IX, X started by school van with our teachers. We reached there by 10:00 AM. We arranged to distribute the sweets, clothes, chocolates, soaps to the children. The care takers of the orphanage showed their way of living altitude and how they hop up with things day to day life.

On seeing the special gifted children, our students realized how privileged they are
Just a visit made them
1. To love and respect their parents.
2. To be grateful to God for all he has given them
3. To be kind to his fellow being
4. To do a small change to create a better society.

We went to the Orphanage (on 5th December, 2009). The interact club students of our school, Youth service director Shashi Madam and interact club Coordinator Sangeetha madam accompanied us.
The Orphanage was behind the TIRUMANGALAM police station. There were around 60 students in the Orphanage aged between 1-15 yrs. They welcomed us and said they have been waiting for us.
