Trip to Egmore Musuem

On 6th July which was a Tuesday the fifth graders were taken on a trip to the Egmore Musuem. We were excited. We saw the Fossil Tree trunk which was living 20 million years ago.
We saw foreign birds like African Bustard. We saw skeletons of different animals, poisonous and non-poisonous snakes, Geological time chart, black granite, fossils, duck billed platypus,etc.
We also saw Viper, Phython, and some other interesting species.
We saw roman pendant medals, Japanese Art...

Football Tournament

Vaels Billabong Football team won the championship award conducted by the Padmabhushan Lady Andal Memorial Interschool Tournament held at Lady Andal school campus on 22nd and 23rd July 2010. A total of 12 teams took part in the under 14 girls category. Priyali of Grade VI was awarded as the best goal keeper of the Tournament. All the players received individual trophy and merit certificates.
