Eating Chocolate

By Jashwanthi , V , D

They call it melting
This strange thing that
Happens to chocolate
The hard bar that snaps in my fingers,
Becomes a melted mush on my tongue
Perhaps the chocolate finds it
cosy in my warm mouth
Gets sleepy and slips
Smoothly down my throat

Baby Animals

By Teja , V , A

Goats have Kids,
Sheep have lambs,
And people have babies
They push in prams

Hens have chicks,
Fish have fry,
And people have babies
That laugh and cry

Swans have cygnets,
Seals have pups,
And people have babies
That become grown-ups

My Dogs

By Shruthi Ravishankar , IV , C

I have two big dogs,
They are brave and strong.
They are wide awake ,
All night long.

Guarding my house,
Like two pillars strong,
Nothing can slip from their sight,
Which lets us sleep soundly at night.

As I get back from school,
They cover me with drool.
They like to jump and run,
Playing with them is lots of fun.

Mother

She was awake all night just to make sure I was sound sleep. Her hands always assisting me in all my movements. I love you MOTHER!
M- Million things she gave me
O- Only that she is growing old
T- Tears she shed to save me
H- Heart of purest gold
E- Eyes with love light...
