The students of Grade VI had a resource talk on the different species of snakes. The talk was done by Mr. Vimal Raj from the Tree foundation. A power point foundation was shown on the different varieties of snakes found in various parts of the world. Special mention was also made about the venom and how it is been used for various purpose. The talk concluded with the children experiencing the sight of a live snake and they also had an opportunity to touch and feel it.

As an activity for SUPW, the Grade VII students rid the front grounds of Billabong High of all the litter. It was a wonderful experience and it was great knowing the small yet beneficial help that we provided to make the earth a better place. We ended up with a garbage cans filled to the brim and this was an activity we are sure to repeat!

The students of Grade II had a slumber party in the school on 12th Friday. This is related to the activity with the story the owl who was afraid of dark.
