Field Trip to Little Hearts Convent Shool

The children of Grade I were taken to Little Hearts Convent school (The school for the disabled), as field trip for the topic "Senses" . There were children from the age group of two years onwards. The children and the adults had several disabilities like hearing impaired, deaf, dumb etc., Our children felt very sad seeing those disabled people. Also they were surprised to see them engaged in doing several activities like making candles, painting, Sewing, Knitting and embroidering etc. Special training is provided to children with speech and learning difficulties. We all came back with our hearts filled with sadness.
