Vael's Billabong High organised a residential summer camp for chennai city school students which was held in its school premises from 21/04/09 to 26/04/09. Dr. Subramoniam Rangaswamy, Vice Chancellor, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute University was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. Dr. A. Subbiah Pandian, Prof. Presidency College, gave a resource talk and demonstration on the topic "Science is Fun. The Campers had many project activities, camp activities (Resource talk, Yoga, Art & craft, sports and games), Field trip, First- Aid class, camp fire etc.The camp learners also enthusiastically participated in all activities and special prizes were given for outstanding performance. It was an enriching experience for the students.
