Excursion to Railway Museum

Students of Class IV and Class V went on an excursion to the Indian Rail Museum on August 10, 11 ,17 and 18. The students got a chance to see engines,coaches,chair cars,seats and berths and plates of the years gone by.The museum also exhibits mannequins attired in rail uniform,bridges,working models of trains passing through different terrain.Children eagerly saw these exhibits .They thoroughly enjoyed a joy ride in a train which took them around real engines and coaches of the British times.The...

Display Board and Cleanliness Competition

The Display Board and Cleanliness Competition for the school was conducted on 5th August, 2010. The students decorated their classroom display boards as per the given themes. Annual Summer Project Exhibition

Fruit Break

A refreshing idea of giving a fruit break has been introduced in the Primary Department of the main school. The students have been advised to have an assortment of fruit and nuts at a stipulated time. This has been implemented with a view to inculcate healthy eating habits among students.

Independence Day

The Independence Day was celebrated with much fervour in the school. The day started with a speech by a student Ashna Mehendru of class VI who spoke about the importance of freedom. This was followed by a presentation of patriotic songs by the school choir. The Principal Sh L.V. Sehgal unfurled the tri coloured flag. The students then sang the National Anthem. A Kite Flying Competition was also organised .Students took part in the competition with great enthusiasm.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony for the Middle Department was held on !8th August,2010. The programme started with the speeches of the the ex Headboy Shivam Gakhar and Headgirl Aadya Ahuja.This was followed by the oath taking ceremony which was administered by the outgoing Headboy Shivam Gakhar. The newly appointed members of the prefectorial board were then given the badges by the Principal Sh L.V.Sehgal.
