FROM THE CO-ORDI NATOR’S DESK

Education is the manifestation of perfection that is already in man, said “Swami Vivekananda”. The word Education literally means, ‘leading out’, drawing out, and developing the powers of mind. In this sense it means drawing out the latent faculties of men. But in the popular view it means the instructions a boy or a girl receives at schools or colleges from the teachers.
Education is a process that aims at making students into a being perfectly rational and supremely moral. The object of education is to discipline the mind. It refines the tastes, subdues our passions, kills our based propensities make us fit for the battle of life and fortifies the mind with patience and perseverance. An educated man is respected wherever he goes. His mind is a perfect treasure.
There is nothing purer than education which unlocks the gate to the noblest of happiness.
