New studies indicate that there may be as few as 3,200 tigers [Panthera tigris] left in the wild all over the world.Tigers occupy less than seven per cent of their original range, which has decreased by 40% over the past 10 years,Continuing defortestation and rampant poaching could push some tigers population to the same place as destruction of forests for timber, agriculture and road buildings has forced tigers into smaller areas where they are increasingly vulnerable. tigers have been killed for their body parts, which are demanded to hold medicinal properties in some cultures.So, please start fighting for our National animal-the tiger and rise India's greatness.
