The Investiture ceremony and the Inauguration of the clubs kicked off with the office bearers on their mart to get set for the challenges in the forth coming academic year. After an invocation, the Principal, Mrs.Jayalakshmi Ramachandran along with the chief guest and the co–ordinators lit the ‘Kuthuvilakku’. The Principal welcomed the chief guest Dr.Rama Vaidhyanathan, HOD of Biotechnology Department, Dr.MGR University on the occasion of the induction of the office bearers. The chief guest in her address stressed upon the students to develop their leadership qualities and to realize, pursue and achieve their goals. Senior faculty Mrs.Gayatri Singh and Mrs.Suja Benji Mathew inspired the students to change from ordinary to extra ordinary by citing examples of great men.
The office bearers were inducted and the club convenors presented the proceedings for the academic year 2012 – 2013. The school pupil leader, Ms.Sangeetha of Std XII rendered her acceptance to serve the institution to the satisfaction of the Principal, teachers and the fellow students along with the council.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Damayanthi, Senior faculty of the Commerce Department.
